FIVE thugs sent on a £2,000 trip to keep them out of The Sun - Full Articletrouble ended up attacking a man during the jaunt.

They were among 19 known troublemakers taken away to avoid clashes with English Defence League marchers near their homes.

Town hall bosses spent more than £2,100 on the day trip, which was supervised by a cop and five council staff, a court heard.

The group, aged 17 to 19, were taken to Blackpool Pleasure Beach amid fears they could become embroiled in the EDL march in Dudley, West Midlands.

But soon after arriving at the Lancashire resort, the Asian yobs began aiming racist chants at dad-of-two Derek Brownhill, 30. ..........

Midsomer ...the Last Bastion of Englishness!

I can't believe that Brian True-May The producer of Midsomer Murders has apologized & is to step down from the show following controversial comments about its ethnic makeup. 

As usual - anything that smacks of stating the truth gets honest citizens targeted as racists. Why  True-May apologised is beyond me?!

True-May told the Radio Times that the ITV1 programmes - which have run for 14 series - "wouldn't work" if there was any racial diversity in the village.

He said: "We just don't have ethnic minorities involved. Because it wouldn't be the English village with them. It just wouldn't work...........

"We're the last bastion of Englishness and I want to keep it that way."
